Glenn Beck Part II: Fear of A Black Planet & The Race For 2050

In my article “Glen Beck & Elias Abuelazam: The Ritual Desecration of The 1963 March”, I pointed out that the “Restore Honor” rally  due to the message of Beck, beliefs of his followers as well as the location and date for the event is an act of ritual desecration .

The purpose of this ritual desecration is to replace the meaning of “August 28th”  as a sacred day for the advancement of social justice, with a definition that is centered on overturning any potential or realized gains by people of African ancestry.

The timing of Glenn Beck’s August 28, 2010 “Restore Honor” rally is cause of concern due to:

  1. The date he chose to hold the event.
  2. Election (or selection) of America’s first openly acknowledged Black President.
  3. The potential for escalated violence due to past historical white led mass mobilizations with the same or similar themes.
  4. The ineptitude of leaders of the so-called Black establishment in the area of race, including President Obama and the lack of effective organization of people of African ancestry.

The following events have taken place on “August 28th” and carry “sacred” significance for people of African ancestry in particular and people seeking to establish justice for all in general:

Emmett Till’s brutal murder on August 28, 1955. This act of terrorism served as the impetus of the modern Civil Rights Movement. Many people mistakenly believe it was the Rosa Park’s refusal to give up her seat on the bus in Montgomery, Alabama. The Montgomery Bus Boycott started officially on December 1st , 1955, Rosa Parks said that Emmett Till was on her mind when she refused to give up her seat.

August 28, 1963 The March On Washington took place and at the time was the largest demonstration of its kind. The March of 1963 catapulted Martin Luther King, Jr. as the defacto leader of the so-called Civil Rights Movement and etched into the consciousness of the world the phrase “I Have A Dream” as well as establishing King’s speech as one of the best speeches of all time. It marked a high point for the then Civil Rights Movement’s Big Six which consisted of The NAACP(Roy Wilkins), The Urban League (Whitney Young), Congress for Racial Equality (CORE) led by James Farmer, SNCC and The Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters(A.Phillip Randolph). The March of 1963 also was a crowning achievement for those who maintained that only an inter-racial coalition could bring forth meaningful change to America.

The March of 1963 had its critics notably Malcolm X, who referred to it as a “picnic”, where the speakers “were told what to say and when to say it” and the demonstrators had to be out of Washington, D.C. “by sundown”.

Hurricane Katrina five years ago formed as a “Tropical Depression Twelve over the southeastern Bahamas on August 23, 2005. Katrina again rapidly intensified, attaining Category 5 status on the morning of August 28 and reached its peak strength at 1:00 p.m. CDT that day, with maximum sustained winds of 175 mph (280 km/h) and a minimum central pressure of 902 mbar. The pressure measurement made Katrina the fourth most intense Atlantic hurricane on record at the time, only to be surpassed by Hurricanes Rita and Wilma later in the season; it was also the strongest hurricane ever recorded in the Gulf of Mexico at the time (a record also later broken by Rita).”

The events listed above have the following in common:

  • Race was a determining factor in each event.

  • Each event had the loss of Black life either before, during and/or after the date of the August 28th event. Emmett Till was murdered 8 years before the March On Washington in 1963 took place. On June 16, 1963  Medgar Evers was brutally murdered by white supremacists, Martin Luther King was assassinated nearly 5 years after the “I Have A Dream” speech as well as the scores of African-Americans who were killed by the hands of the Klan and similar type of organizations before, during and after the March of 1963. In regards to Hurricane Katrina, according to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP):

“The Census data also confirm that African-Americans made up a disproportionate share of the hurricane’s victims.  About one of every three people who lived in the areas hit hardest by the hurricane were African-American.  By contrast, one of every eight people in the nation is African-American.

African-Americans living in New Orleans were especially likely to be without a vehicle before the hurricane struck.  More than one in three black households in New Orleans (35 percent) — and nearly three in five poor black households (59 percent) — lacked a vehicle.  Among white non-Hispanic households in New Orleans, 15 percent lacked a vehicle.”

  • The issues that each event symbolized or was an example of, are still unresolved. One of the reasons why the date of August 28th should be held sacred is that despite the election(or selection) of President Barack Obama and other very visible achievements by certain members of the Black race, the racial divide is as great if not greater than its ever been.

The “Restore Honor” rally is counter to the sentiments, aims and objectives of the past August 28th events which prominently highlighted issues and concerns of social justice, freedom and liberation. The theme of the “Restore Honor” is synonymous with other white nationalist catch phrases such as “take back our country”, “law and order”, “the good old days”, “protect the 2nd Amendment”,”states rights” and “keep them in their place”.

Beck and his followers want to erase any sentiment that will cause the current white majority to feel that they should live up to the standards of justice and true healing of the racial divide. Alarmed by the support of many whites of Barack Obama, this radical right fringe are seeking to establish a social and political climate that will halt any white support for Black elected officials, namely President Barack Obama or causes important to African-Americans i.e. Civil Rights or meaningful rebuilding efforts for Hurricane Katrina survivors.

The notion of “restoring honor” has historically had the act of violence as its very close companions. We have the historical example of the duel in 1804 between Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton (we won’t go into his “Negro” roots).

In “A Dictionary of Medieval Terms and Phrases” , Christopher Corédon writes:

“Conceptions of honour vary widely between cultures; in some cultures, honour killings of (mostly female) members of one’s own family are considered justified if the individuals have “defiled the family’s honour” by marrying against the family’s wishes, or even by being the victims of rape. These honour killings are generally seen in the West as a way of men using the culture of honour to control female sexuality.”

In America, this notion of “restoring honor” as indicated by the reference quoted above, has been relayed  by the KKK, DW Griffith’s film “Birth of A Nation”, racist political campaigns by both Democrats and Republicans in one way or the other.

To “Restore Honor” in the United States has usually meant the killing of a Black male as in the case of Emmett Till for violating the boundaries set in place to supposedly protect the white woman. President Barack Obama’s, the first acknowledged Black President, mother was white and this fact is an affront to the white nationalist sentiment that runs deep within the Euro-American populace. Also taking into consideration, that “America” is always referred to in the feminine form. Hence Barack Obama “capturing “the White House is equal to in the white nationalist supremacist’s mind to the violation of the white woman, for America (she) has been a white country. Thus Beck’s “Restore Honor” is a call to protect and reclaim the honor of the white(female) country called America that has been tainted by the touch or penetration (election) of Barack Hussein Obama.

By occupying the same space literally and symbolically on August 28th, Beck is “rallying the troops” for the great cause of the preservation of the white race. Hence rather than have a day that may attract or solidify white support for Black issues in a time there is an African-American president, Beck and his group have taken that the day to remind whites of the 14 words of the Neo-Nazi program uttered by its hero David Lane:

“We must secure the existence of our people and a future for White children.”

The undercurrents to Beck’s “Restore Honor” rally are the economic, social and political insecurities brought on by corporate and political corruption, internal moral decay and the disappearing middle class. To add to white people’s anxiety about poor employment prospects and ever rising American government debt, there is a decline in the standing of the USA as a world power, evidenced by the so-called “rise of China” and declining population of the white race in America.

“Today, non-Hispanic whites make up about 68% of the population. This is expected to fall to 46% in 2050. The report foresees the Hispanic population rising from 15% today to 30% by 2050. Today African-Americans make up 12% of the population, in 2050 they are projected to comprise 15% of the population. Asian Americans make up 5% of the population today and they are expected to make up 9% in 2050. The U.S. has nearly 305 million people today. The population is projected to reach 400 million by 2039 and 439 million in 2050.

Thus we see the true impetus to challenge President Obama on his citizenship, the discussion on changing the 14th Amendment and not automatically grant citizenship to those born in the United States as well as the focus on immigration. Frances Cress Wesling states:

“Racism (White Supremacy) is the local and global power system and dynamic, structured and maintained by persons who classify themselves as white, whether consciously or subconsciously determined, which consists of patterns of perception, logic, symbol formation, thought, speech, action and emotional response, as conducted simultaneously in all areas of people activity (economics, education, entertainment, labor, law, politics, religion, sex and war), for the ultimate purpose of white genetic survival and to prevent white genetic annihilation on planet Earth – a planet upon which the vast majority of people are classified as nonwhite (black, brown, red and yellow) by white skinned people, and all of the nonwhite people are genetically dominant (in terms of skin coloration) compared to the genetic recessive white skin people”.

Despite its statements of good will, the “Restore Honor” rally stated aim to ‘honor the troops’ is code for ‘soldiers assemble to get your marching orders’.  Ignoring the demographic trends previously mentioned Beck is putting forth a 100 year plan to maintain white rule:

” I have begun meeting with some of the best minds in the country that believe in limited government, maximum freedom and the values of our Founders.

I am developing a 100 year plan. I know that the bipartisan corruption in Washington that has brought us to this brink and it will not be defeated easily. It will require unconventional thinking and a radical plan to restore our nation to the maximum freedoms we were supposed to have been protecting, using only the battlefield of ideas.

All of the above will culminate in The Plan, a book that will provide specific policies, principles and, most importantly, action steps that each of us can take to play a role in this Refounding.

On August 28, 2010, I ask you, your family and neighbors to join me at the feet of Abraham Lincoln on the National Mall for the unveiling of The Plan and the birthday of a new national movement to restore our great country.”

Read between the lines:

“Limited Government”= No Federal Protection= States Rights.

“Maximum Freedom”= Freedom To Do To Blacks and Others Like Them What We Please.

“Values of Our Founders”= The Constitution Before The 13th, 14th & 15th Amendments. Remember 3/5ths of a Human Being! Many of the so-called Founding Fathers “owned” enslaved Africans.

“Battlefield of Ideas”= Whatever Concepts We Can Devise To Keep Power. Identify Tools Of Violence That Can Be Used.

Glenn Beck and his followers, in addition to pursuing a racist agenda,  filled the void that was created by the absence of visionary Black leadership. Please name me any of the African-Americans leaders who plan counter rallies, or will stand in front of television cameras with their “Negro Sound Bytes” that have a 100 year plan?

Dick Gregory in the Final Call newspaper stated:

Glenn Beck and the right wing have a right to conduct their march, said Dick Gregory, the social satirist, comedian, historian, and civil rights advocate who marched with Dr. King. The problem is that Black folks just were not clever enough to book that date 10 years in a row so “that’s our fault.”

President Obama for whatever reason has avoided the issue of race unless forced to acknowledge as in the case Rev. Wright and the police incident with Henry Louis Gates. Obama by being hesitant to discuss race has squandered an opportunity to take control of the dialogue in America and assist in the advancement of issues important to those who seek consistent displays of justice.

While the stated aims and objectives of the “Restore Honor” rally are open and available on the internet as well as elsewhere, there is another component to Beck’s movement.

Beck is utilizing occult symbolic numerology as well as white supremacist code to further his efforts and the population is being exposed to other forms of occult manipulation without knowing it.

This is best understood when we dissect the occult, metaphysical and esoteric elements to this latest episode of white domination, and examine the connections between Glenn Beck and Elias Abuelazam.
