Child Of The Black Panthers: Friday The 13th & Other Superstitions Surrounding The Death Of Tupac Shakur

Tupac Amaru Shakur lived with us on the physical plane from June 16, 1971 to September 13, 1996. As most Blacks, people of African ancestry, he fought  external and internal battles against a system that viciously defined him. Through its apparatus of incantation commonly known as the media, the so-called fourth estate, white supremacy effectively normalizes lies about African people and establishes an ingrained system of logic in the populace.

The media is the universal tool of indoctrination, where the inhabitants of the planet earth receive informal and subliminal indoctrination in the established value system of white supremacy. Unlike the partnering entity the so-called educational system which requires that the person actually make some effort to enroll and establish some form of accountable form of measurable achievement as in tests, exams, homework, etc.. All the 24 hour media machine requires is that you purchase its various forms of instrumentation and press “click”. The intellectual and spiritual threshold of participation is very low, for all the consumer of the various instruments of propaganda has to do is “watch” or “listen” and “react”.  Thinking or the semblance of critical analysis is not required or wanted.

It doesn’t have to be true for it to be logical. If the lie is repeated enough times it becomes for the believer the “truth” which becomes cemented in their consciousness preventing them from desiring “The Truth”. In other words, welcome to the Matrix.

This is the world Tupac Shakur entered when he was born on June 16, 1971. A world that maintained that anything associated with the color “Black” was negative and evil. This is evidenced y a perusal of any dictionary or thesaurus.

The word “black” is usually described as an adjective meaning “dirty”, “angry” and “hopeless”. The antonyms for “black” include “white”, “clean”, “happy” and “optimistic”.

The laws of the country conformed to this negative view of Black people, persons of African ancestry. This virulent noxious view intensified if one who was “Black” engaged in political or any activity deemed inappropriate by the ruling elite. J. Edgar Hoover’s  COINTELPRO program is representative of the raison de entre of white supremacy. According the United States own investigation by the 1976 Senate into COINTELPRO activities stated:

“In August 1967, the FBI initiated a covert action program — COINTELPRO — to disrupt and “neutralize” organizations which the Bureau characterized as “Black Nationalist Hate Groups.” The FBI memorandum expanding the program described its goals as:

“1. Prevent a coalition of militant black nationalist groups….

2. Prevent the rise of a messiah who could unify and electrify the militant nationalist movement … Martin Luther King, Stokely Carmichael and Elijah Muhammad all aspire to this position….

3. Prevent violence on the part of black nationalist groups….

4. Prevent militant black nationalist groups and leaders from gaining respectability by discrediting them….

5. . . . prevent the long-range growth of militant black nationalist organizations, especially among youth. The targets of this nationwide program to disrupt “militant black nationalist organizations” included groups such as the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC), the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), the Revolutionary Action Movement (RAM), and the Nation of Islam (NOI). It was expressly directed against such leaders as Martin Luther King, Jr., Stokley Carmichael, H. Rap Brown, Maxwell Stanford, and Elijah Muhammad.”

The Black Panther Party (BPP) was not among the original “Black Nationalist” targets. In September 1968, however, FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover described the Panthers as:

“the greatest threat to the internal security of the country.

“Schooled in the Marxist-Leninist ideology and the teaching of Chinese Communist leader Mao Tse-tung, its members have perpetrated numerous assaults on police officers and have engaged in violent confrontations with police throughout the country. Leaders and representatives of the Black Panther Party travel extensively all over the, United States preaching their gospel of hate and violence not only to ghetto residents, but to students in colleges, universities and high schools is well. (Emphasis Mine)

Shakur & The Political Implications Of His Fan Base

Notice what the FBI’s concern for areas and the specifically mentioned groups that correspond to the fan base of Shakur, who is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most successful selling rapper of all time.

The “youth”, “ghetto residents” “students in high school, colleges and universities” were among those who  Shakur appealed to as an artist and a person.

The death of Tupac Shakur was orchestrated to conform with the most negative connotations about the color black and Black people, persons of African ancestry in particular. The government attack on groups such as the Black Panther Party, which his mother, father, godfather and stepfather were members of, did not cease with the neutralization of the adults.  The government’s war extended to the children of adult members who were in the movement. Thus by both cosmic and man-made forces seem to have conspired to make Shakur’s death appear to be fulfillment of ominously lived life.

While Tupac Shakur made mistakes in his life as everyone who walks on this plane of existence, he had little freedom to “just live” due to his affiliation with the Black Panther Party.

Despite his sometimes outlandish portrayal by the media, Shakur expressed a deep concern for social issues as well as being an agent for change. Before his death, Tupac Shakur , before the “Vote or Die” movement (or con) by P.Diddy, expressed interest in using his star appeal to encourage greater political involvement by the youth. Consider the implications if he pursued this line of thinking with the pending release of his Godfather Geronimo ji-Jaga Pratt.

Shakur’s death on Friday, September 13, 1996 never gets mentioned in the lore of  friggatriskaidekaphobia or fear of Friday the 13th. But the actual event of Shakur’s death and the surrounding factors involved should make any one take pause.

With his connection to the Black Panthers, it may provide fuel for the fire for those who are superstitious or study situations and events that cater to the perception of superstition, in order to mask  plots, plans and programs for control and domination.

Discern the association of “Black Panther” to “Black Cat” and the white supremacist supposition that a “Black Cat Brings Bad Luck”. Some have observed:

“However in Western history, black cats have often been looked upon as a symbol of evil omens, specifically being suspected of being the familiars of witches; other cultures consider them to be bad luck as well. The gambling world is afraid of a black cat: it is believed that if you are on your way to a casino and a black cat crosses your road or path, you should not go to the casino and go home; most players believe that black cats bring them bad luck.”

Remember Tupac Shakur was attending the Mike Tyson – Bruce  Seldon boxing match at the”MGM Grand Las Vegas, a  hotel casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada.”  Thus when Tupac Shakur, associated with the Black Panther Party enters a casino he has “bad luck”, dying  6 days after entering Paradise, Nevada.

Expounding further within this framework of thinking, “A Cat Has Nine Lives”. Tupac was shot 9 times in all. On November 30, 1994, Shakur was shot 5 times and robbed after entering the lobby of Quad Recording Studios in Manhattan by two armed men in army fatigues.  While on September 7,1996 he was shot 4 times, resulting in his death on September 13, 1996. 5+4=9.

The date of September 13, 1996 is also important for it is the “earth- day” of Shakur’s Godfather, Black Panther Geronimo Pratt.

Pratt was born on September 13, 1947. Pratt was wrongly convicted for the murder of Caroline Olsen in 1972. The conviction was overturned in light of new evidence that the chief witness against him was a police and FBI informant who lied under oath. Pratt always has maintained his innocence in the murder, contending he was in Oakland at the time of the killing. In addition, a former FBI agent now says Pratt was framed. “Pratt’s conviction was vacated on June 10, 1997, on the grounds that the prosecution had not disclosed that a key witness against Pratt, Julius Butler, was an informant for both the FBI and the LAPD, and that this fact was “favorable” to the defendant, “suppressed” by a law enforcement agency, and “material” to the jury’s decision to convict. ”

Pratt was 49 years old when released and that was almost 9 months exactly after the death of his godson.

Tupac Shakur’s life and death was shaped by the energy vibration of both the exoteric and esoteric principles of life. The number 4 appears in Tupac’s life in the form of  13(1+3=4), 31 (3+1=4) and 40(4+0=4). This can be observed with his full name and birth date.

 Shakur’s full name “TUPAC AMARU SHAKUR”=

T=2+U=3+P=7+A=1+C=3= 16; A=1+M=4+A=1+R=9+U=3= 18; S=1+H=8+A=1+K=2+U=3+R=9= 24. 16+18+24=58=5+8=13=1+3=4.

Shakur was born June 16, 1971=6+16+1+9+7+1=40=4+0=4 or 6+1+6+1+9+7+1=31=3+1=4.

Shakur made a 13% recovery on the sixth night in the hospital after being shot at on September 7, 1996.

Shakur’s biological father Billy Garland was born on March, 14, 1949=3+14+1+9+4+9=40 or 3+1+4+1+9+4+9=31=3+1=4.

Mutulu Shakur, Tupac’s stepfather who raised him while he was a young boy was born on August 8, 1950= 8+8+1+9+5+0=31=3+1=4.

Tupac’s Godfather Geronimo Pratt was born on September 13, 1947.

Pratt was 49 years old when released from jail. 4+9=13=1+3=4.

Tupac Shakur on February 14, 1995 served prison sentence at Clinton Correctional facility. February 14, 1995= 2+14+1+9+9+5=40=4+0=4.

February 13, 1996, Tupac’s 4th solo album “All Eyez On Me” released. February 13, 1996=2+13+1+9+9+6=40=4+0=4.

When the number 4 appears as the sum of someone’s sum of their birth date or life path number as in the case of Tupac, they are said to have the following character traits:

  • Serious, honest and sincere.
  • Capable of creating system and order.
  • Responsible
  • Strong sense of likes and dislikes
  • Practical Hard Worker

The lesson for the life path 4 is quite simple. He/She must learn the advantage gained for self through system and order toward the accomplishing of his/her goals.

Learning to accept limitations, he/she must also learn there are many rewards by rendering service to others in spite of the hardship (limitations) it may cause in any area of the life of a number 4 person.

Being aware of the many limitations in life, inner self, the environment and of his or her on endurance and physical strength, often feeling they limit self more than anyone else and learning to live in peace and harmony with the limitations will eventually allow the lifepath four to accomplish his/her lifepath lesson. That is the path to gaining the victory for soul growth.

The Negative Forces Within Number 4

The life path 4 must guard against letting feelings of inadequacies and limitations get the upper hand. A stubborn and rigid manner may be causing the 4 some personal problems but he/she will not acknowledge this fact to self or others.

Only when the 4 focuses on the positive inherent in limitations will he/she follow the path to completion of a lesson well learned.”

The symbolic meaning of number 4 deals with stability and invokes the grounded nature of all things. Consider the four seasons, four directions, four elements all these amazingly powerful essences wrapped up in the nice square package of Four. Fours represent solidity, calmness, and home. A recurrence of 4 in your life may signify the need to get back to your roots, center yourself, or even “plant” yourself. Fours also indicate a need for persistence and endurance.

The number 40 represents the fulfillment of promises and represents a period of testing or judgment (the length of time necessary to accomplish some major part of the Divine plan ).

The planet Venus forms a pentagram in the night sky every eight years with it returning to its original point every 40 years with a 40 day regression (some scholars believe that this ancient information was the basis for the number 40 becoming sacred to Jews, Christians, and Muslims).

The ancient Egyptians, people of Kemet maintained that it took 40 years of instruction to graduate from their universities. They also held the belief that it took 40 days for the soul to successfully make the journey through the spirit world.

Afeni Shakur, Tupac’s mother was born on January 22, 1947= 1+22+1+9+4+7=44. Another way of “seeing” 44 is 11×4=4.  The number 11 also appeared in the life of Tupac.

 The phrase “Black Panther Party”=

 P=7+A=1+R=9+T=2+Y=7=26. 11+37+26=74=7+4=11.

Tupac Shakur made his transition on September 13, 1996=9+13+1+9+9+6=47=4+7=11.

The number 11 is considered to be the is the first of the master numbers. It is associated with idealistic concepts and spiritual issues as Tupac’s songs “Dear Mama” and “Changes” contain.

 The number 11 person has the capacity to be inspirational, and the ability to lead merely by their own example. An inborn inner strength and awareness  makes them  an excellent teacher, social worker, philosopher, or advisor. With the number 11 person, intuition is very strong; in fact, many psychic people and those involved in occult studies have the number 11 expression.

Death Row Records & Tupac Shakur

Shakur’s association with Death Row Records added another element of negative perceived symbols attached to him. The logo of the company has a male sitting in an electric chair with his covered by a hood. This image despite whatever interpretation offered by Suge Knight and others in the Death Row camp, supports the fatalistic view that Black males are criminals, glorifies the Prison Industrial Complex and sends the message that Black males are targeted for death.  For Suge Knight who hails from Compton, California, chose a logo and name of his record company that was in line with the violence and gangsterism that has plagued communities such as Compton for decades. This spirit of gangsterism followed Tupac and others in Death Row in all aspects of their lives.

The club that he and Tupac were headed to on the fatal night on September 13, 1996 was Club 662. The Club 662 was so named for the numbers “662” spell “mob” on a telephone key pad.

Unlike his association with the “Black Panthers” it is very difficult or possible to demonstrate how not to see this company name and logo as anything but negative. Especially given the high incarceration of Black males, Death Row Records seemed only a reinforcement of the negative trend.

For a very visible Black man with family ties to an organization such as the Black Panthers, whose good deeds were criminalized by the U.S. government and hence made him a target of continued harassment, an association with a record company such as “Death Row Records” in hindsight appears very unwise.

Tupac’s association with Death Row records was another reference to his death and added to the list of reasons why many in the general public either believed that an early death was where he was rapidly heading towards and/or that he deserved to die due to his various associations.

The fact that he died while a member of Death Row Records, seems to be a omnious sign to say the least.  The spectre of violence and death did not begin with the name “Death Row Records” or Suge Knights association with the Bloods gangs, we can identify the aura of violence with the birth date of Suge Knight.

Death Row Records founder Suge Knight was born on April 19, 1965. The day of April 19th has been associated with some of the most violent episodes in American history:

  • On April 19, 1775, British and American soldiers exchanged fire in the Massachusetts towns of Lexington and Concord.
  • Less than a century later, when Civil War threatened to destroy the fledgling Republic of the United States of America, first blood was drawn on April 19, 1861, when a Baltimore mob attempted to stop Massachusetts troops heading for Washington, D.C. (Lincoln also ordered a blockade of Confederate ports on that same day.)
  • April 19, 1993: FBI Assault on the Branch Davidian Compound in Waco Texas. 81 people perished in that firestorm and gunfire.
  • April 19, 1995: One hundred sixty-eight people died in the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City.

Consistent with his life and death, we observe in Tupac’s association with Death Row Records the numbers 13, 40 and 44. The name “Suge Knight” under the lens of numerology gives us the sum of 13:

S=1 + U=3+ G=7+ E=5 =16

The number 13 also appears at least two times with Knight and Tupac working together at Death Row Records.  On February 13, 1996, Shakur released his fourth solo album, All Eyez on Me and he died on September 13, 1996 from gun shot wounds on September 7, 1996.

Snoop Dogg was a member of the Death Row Family at the time Tupac Shakur joined. The name “SNOOP DOGG”=

S=1+N=5+O=6+O=6+P=7= 25

Knight’s birth date April 19, 1965= 4+19+1+9+6+5=44.  44 is the same life path number as Afeni Shakur, Tupac’s mother.

Death Row Records=

D=4+E=5+A=1+T=2+ H=8= 20

The number appears in the birth date of his biological father, Billy Garland and step father, Mutulu Shakur.

The association of Tupac Shakur and Death Row Records conforms to the Lincoln Symbolic Code of Social Control. With the Lincoln Symbolic Code of Social Control, the numbers 5, 39 and 44 appear with movements led by and individuals of African ancestry resulting in their unwanted demise.

September 7, 1996 when Tupac was shot in Las Vegas: 9+7+1+9+9+6=41=4+1=5

Dr. Dre who was also a member of the Death Row fraternity was born on February 18, 1965= 2+18+1+9+6+5=41=4+1=5.

Tupac’s 5th studio album The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory was released almost two months after his death, on November 5, 1996. November 5, 1996= 11+5+1+9+9+6=41=4+1=5.

39 is another way of expressing “13×3”. When we look at the events that involved Suge Knight and Tupac, we see “13×3=39” three times.

Tupac Shakur has had an album and 3 singles which have peaked at number 13 on the U.S. charts.

Shakur’s fourth studio album All Eyez On Me (Which has 4 words in its title) was released on 13, February 1996.

Shakur died on 13, September 1996. This was on Friday the 13th.

Thus we have 6 times the number 13 has appeared with Shakur which is “13×3” twice.

As mentioned earlier the name “SUGE KNIGHT” =13.  Knight’s government name “MARION KNIGHT”=

Snoop Dogg was a member of the Death Row Family at the time Tupac Shakur joined. The name “SNOOP DOGG”=

S=1+N=5+O=6+O=6+P=7= 25

With Suge Knight and Snoop Dogg’s names we have another appearance of “13X3”.

The loss of Tupac Shakur was a deep wound that has just begun to heal. Due to the racist and “dumb down” culture of America, the various affiliations Shakur maintained at different phases of his life were steeped in the mythology and pathology of the country’s psyche.

The Black Panthers, “Thug Life”, “Outlawz” and “Death Row Records” all were buzz words for an adversarial relationship with law enforcement and with the exception of the Black Panthers, reflected in the eyes of many a glorification of the forces of violence and decay in the Black community.

All of the affiliations Tupac had carried an aura of death due to the tradition of superstition, stereotypes and lack of critical thinking. One affiliation that Tupac could not escape was being a member of the Black race.

The forces of destruction in this country wants the population of the world to believe that Tupac’s death wouldn’t have occurred had he not held certain affiliations, but given its history of brutality against people of African ancestry, especially Black males indicates otherwise.

The presence of the numbers 5, 39 and 44 is an indication of the negative social programming by the invisible hand of history. I refer the reader to my article “Malcolm, Martin Luther King, Barack Obama & The Abraham Lincoln Symbolic Code of Social Control”.  These numbers 5, 39 and 44 accompany the demise of many of the greatest individuals and social movements produced by people of African ancestry including the “man of peace” Dr. King. Thus we see that Tupac’s fate was not one of his own creation but another example of a tragic casualty in an ongoing struggle.
