Occult Practices Of The American Political Establishment

Recent revelations that Delaware United States senator candidate Christine O’Donnell once associated with witches and had a midnight soiree on a satanic altar has made headlines. O’Donnell brushed off inquiry into her past as a youthful indiscretion claiming she is like everyone else who has had contacts with people who in hindsight were not  ideal.  According to the September 22, 2010’s Christian Science Monitor:

“Christine O’Donnell is not hiding from the fact that she dabbled in witchcraft in her youth. She’s making light of it, instead. On Sean Hannity’s Fox News show Tuesday night, the Delaware Republican Senate candidate described her witch period as an episode of teenage rebellion. “Who didn’t do some questionable things in high school, and who doesn’t regret the ‘80s to some extent?” she told Mr. Hannity.”

O’Donnell appeared on Bill Maher’s Politically Incorrect Show on the ABC network in 1999 and when she became the nominee for the Republican party, Maher replayed clips of her appearance where she said:

I dabbled into witchcraft — I never joined a coven. But I did, I did. … I dabbled into witchcraft. I hung around people who were doing these things. I’m not making this stuff up. I know what they told me they do. […]

One of my first dates with a witch was on a satanic altar, and I didn’t know it. I mean, there’s little blood there and stuff like that. … We went to a movie and then had a midnight picnic on a satanic altar.”

Bill Maher has promised to continue showing clips of her appearances on Political Incorrect until O’Donnell appears on his current show on HBO “Real Time”.

O’Donnell connection to the occult goes beyond her youthful rebellion during her high school years, for just a few years ago she was on C-Span praising the Lord of The Rings writer  J.R.R. Tolkien:

“A 2003 video clip of Christine O’Donnell has surfaced. It shows her leading a discussion on the role of women in J.R.R. Tolkien’s “Lord of the Rings” trilogy on C-SPAN.

On the video, O’Donnell praises Tolkien, saying that he “strikes a very good balance between men and women and the extreme attitudes of femininity.” She also analyzes her own compatibility with the female types presented by Tolkien, saying, “Look at the significance that he gives to Eowyn, the Lady of Rohan. She was a warrior spirit and, to me, that’s who I love. I mean, I aspire to be soft and gentle like Arwen, but realistically, I’m a fighter, like Eowyn.”

Before and after the inception of this country, practitioners of the occult have entered the ranks of the political establishment. Both Democrats and Republicans share in this occult heritage. With Democrats due to their so-called liberal agenda and members of their party such as Bill Clinton, the threshold of moral outrage and public dismay or surprise with anything considered to scandalous is not met with the same intensity of curiosity.

However with the Republicans due to their conservative values platform of  “God, Guns and Government”, any exposure of members of their party not in conformity with this public relations created image becomes sensationalistic fodder for the 24 hour news cycle.

To be surprised that anyone in the political establishment has been or currently is a practitioner of the occult is to deny history and everyday reality of American culture. Whether it is with recording artists lacing their lyrics with occult references, the plethora of psychic storefronts in suburbia and U.S. cities or the numerous corporate logos with undeclared occult underpinnings, America is deeply entrenched in occult practices.  The “Pact With The Devil” comments of evangelist and conservative activist Pat Robertson about Haiti, not withstanding America is really “Occult USA”. Republicans fancy themselves as the “party of Lincoln”, with many of their members classifying  themselves as “Regan Republicans”. When we investigate truthfully the legacy of both Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan, we find ties to the occult.

Abraham Lincoln and his wife Mary Todd Lincoln were known to be involved in the occult. Abraham Lincoln was a close associate of Paschal Beverly Randolph the founder of the oldest American Rosicrucian fraternal order the “Fraternitas Rosae Crucis, the oldest Rosicrucian organization in the United States, which dates back to the era of the American Civil War”.

Paschal Beverly Randolph an African-American, was close friends with Abraham Lincoln and was on the train carrying Lincoln’s body when the 16th president was assassinated. Randolph was forced off the train due to complaints by white passengers who did not want a Black man to ride with them on the train:

“In 1851, Randolph made the acquaintance of Abraham Lincoln. Their friendship was close enough that, when Lincoln was assassinated in 1865, Randolph accompanied Lincoln’s funeral procession in a train to Springfield, Illinois. However, Randolph was asked to leave the train when some passengers objected to the presence of an African-American in their midst.”

Lincoln was also  conducted and attended seances in the White House with his wife:

“Because he and Mary had lost little Edward and Willie at such young ages, they actually held seances in the White House trying to contact their dearly departed.  Mrs. Lincoln also attended seances at the homes of famous mediums of the day.”

Ronald Reagan is the poster child for conservative politics, his popularity is such that even some democrats proclaim themselves to be “Reagan Democrats“. Ronald Reagan and his wife Nancy both were practitioners of astrology. They were said to rely heavily on advice and astrological charts by astrologer Joan Quigley. In the People Magazine’s May 23, 1988 issue we learn that:

“Throughout this association, the Vassar-educated astrologer with country club manners was—as befits a lady—terribly discreet. By the end of the first term, her fellow astrologers had begun to notice the impeccable celestial timing of many Reagan moves, like the bombing of Libya and his announcement for a second term.

“I had astrologer friends calling me saying, ‘Reagan must have had his chart done,’ “Quigley recently confided during an interview in a suite at San Francisco’s Fairmont Hotel. “I just said, ‘Yes. He must have been consulting someone.’ ”

Last week the soignée soothsayer’s cover was blown by former White House aide Donald Regan. In his just-published book, For the Record, Regan spilled what he insisted was “the most closely guarded domestic secret of the Reagan White House.” To wit: “Virtually every major move and decision the Reagans made during my time as White House Chief of Staff was cleared in advance with a woman in San Francisco who drew up horoscopes to make certain that the planets were in a favorable alignment for the enterprise.” (Emphasis, Mine)

The timing of the Christine O’Donnell witchcraft association coincided with the occult calendar’s   September 21’s Mabon celebration which is  one of the Illuminati’s Human Sacrifice Nights  and the 2010 Autumn Equinox. This reflects a trend that was evident with the country’s inception.  George Sieg writes:

“At least eight out of fifty-six signatories to the Declaration of Independence were Freemasons, along with thirty-three out of seventy-four general officers in the Continental Army. Among the most famous Freemasons during the Revolution were Benjamin Franklin, John Hancock, and George Washington. Washington was so dedicated to the principles of Freemasonry that he took his oath of office as America’s first President on the Bible from his Masonic lodge, with the oath being administered by the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of New York.”

In regards to Thomas Jefferson, Sieg states:

“Jefferson considered Jesus to be a moral teacher but repudiated Christianity. He was not a Freemason but had a favorable view of the infamous Illuminati, a radical rationalist order founded on May 1, 1776. With the aim of encouraging secularism and human perfection, the Illuminati infiltrated European Freemasonry, beginning in Germany. Their conspiracy was eventually revealed, and they were banned by the Bavarian government.”

When we look at the literal and symbolic landscape of America we find clear indications of an occult tradition. Though all parts of the United States have occult signatures in their make up, three places in particular we can identify the presence of occult tradition. The three areas are the nation’s capital Washington, D.C., Louisiana and New York, also referred to as the “Empire State”.

With at least 14 U.S. presidents known to be freemasons, we shouldn’t be surprised to observe that the actual construction of the nation’s capital is a reflection of occult symbology drawn from Ancient Africa via Kemet as shown below:

The state of Louisiana’s occult roots are also found in Africa with the arrival of enslaved Africans in the 19th century,  from Haiti. Catherine Yronwode in “Hoodo: African-American Magic” writes:

“Hoodoo consists of a large body of African folkloric practices and beliefs with a considerable admixture of American Indian botanical knowledge and European folklore. Although most of its adherents are black, contrary to popular opinion, it has always been practiced by both whites and blacks in America. Other regionally popular names for hoodoo in the black community include “conjuration,” “conjure,” “witchcraft,” “rootwork,” and “tricking.” [“]

This connection between Africans arriving from Haiti to Louisiana is also evident with Marie Laveau I (her daughter is Marie Laveau II) one of the most famous personalities of the Hoodo/Voodou tradition:

“Marie I was believed to have been born free in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana, about 1801, the daughter of a white planter and a free Creole woman of color. On August 4, 1819, she married Jacques (or Santiago, in other records) Paris, a free person of color who had emigrated from Haiti.

Their marriage certificate is preserved in Saint Louis Cathedral in New Orleans. The marriage mass was performed by Father Antonio de Sedella, the Capuchin priest known as Pere Antoine. Jacques Paris died in 1820 under unexplained circumstances.

He was part of a large Haitian immigration to New Orleans in 1809 after the Haitian Revolution of 1804.

New immigrants consisted of French-speaking white planters and thousands of slaves, as well as free people of color. Those with African ancestry helped revive Voodoo and other African-based cultural practices in the New Orleans community, and the Creole of color community increased markedly.”

Unknown to many people the state of New York has a community solely habitated by residents who are considered to be mediums, healers or more commonly, psychics. This community in the state of New York is called Lily Dale  which is described as a “quaint little town in the Southwestern part of New York State, just south of Buffalo and only a short minutes drive to Chataquta”.

Also referred to as the Lily Dale Assembly, the town is centered on their reputation in the occult arts. According to their website:

“Since it was established in 1879, Lily Dale has been the world’s largest center for spiritual development and the practice of the Spiritualist religion. For 131 years, Lily Dale has offered a world-renowned summer program of lectures, workshops and other activities featuring best-selling authors, leaders in academic and scientific research into psychic phenomena, as well as the world’s most powerful mediums, teachers and healers. Lily Dale is widely known as a place where knowledge and enlightenment converge in ways that deepen faith and heighten awareness.

The energy of the universal life force can be felt, experienced and developed here in this serene 19th century lakeside community surrounded by towering, old-growth forest.”

To understand why members of the elite venture into the occult sciences, we can study the life of  billionaire JP Morgan:

“Billionaire J. P. Morgan consulted with astrologer Evangeline Adams in timing some of his most important business and investment moves. Adams noted, “J. Pierpont Morgan, the world’s biggest financier, drove the world before him because he had astrology behind him.” In fact, it was J. P. Morgan who said, “Millionaires don’t use astrology; billionaires do!”[“]

  8. Occult practices are used in the church where I just recently got out. Hypnosis is being used without the permission of people in the church. I am a retired investigator so I should know how to detect these practices. God help us, in my own church. I’m out of there. Gone back to my roots as a child in Pentecostal. Trying my best to keep my spiritual walk as it should be.
