Beyond The Number 13: The Messiah, The Freedom Party & The Metaphysics Of Black Political Empowerment

The number 13 has been associated with persons of African ancestry throughout their existence on the planet earth. The number 13 was not tainted with any sentiment of fear on the part of the ancient Africans but was an expression of their being in harmony with the natural order.

In Ancient Kemet there existed alongside the 365 day calendar, a 13 month calendar which guided rituals and ceremonies. in the Great Mythos of Ancient Kemet , Auset collected 13 of the scattered parts of her husband Ausar’s body in the process of bringing forth their son Heru to reclaim the throne from his evil uncle Set. The temple at Dendreah with its zodiac has 12 figures revolving around the one sun, which is another expression of the number 13. There were 13 steps to the ladder of immortality for the people of Ancient Kemet.

The number 13 will continue to appear with people of African ancestry in their encounter with Europeans and Arabs but on a lower level of expression. The higher level expression of the number 13 in ancient Africa reflected the indigenous spirituality not influenced by foreign oppressors and the mind-set of a community who were masters of their environment. While in the last 5 centuries, the expression of the number 13 is associated in most-though not in all cases-, a people seeking to be servants in another group’s vision of the world.

We observe the presence of the number 13 with people of African ancestry in their captivity by European and Arab enslavers,  with the Kiswhalli term “MAAFA“.  This term was  first used by scholar Miramba Ani to describe one of  the most wicked and evil methods of dehumanization known in human history.

MAAFA=  M=4+ A=1+A=1+F=6+A=1=13.

Before Maafa, terms such as African/Afrikan Holocaust was used to describe the system of chattel slavery and its subsequent manifestations such as segregation, jim crow and miseducation.

When spelled as “A-F-R-I-C-A-N   H-O-L-O-C-A-U-S-T” we observe the presence of the number 13. The phrase equals: A=1+F=6+R=9+I=9+C=3+A=1+N=5+ H=8+O=6+L=3+O=6+C=3+A=1+U+3+S=1+T=2= 67=13.

The following events, individuals and movements register the number 13 vibration:

  1. MAAFA=13 (See above)
  2. African Holocaust=13 (See above)
  3. One reason why 13 appears frequently with persons of African ancestry seeking power is that the number is a metaphysical register for “LAND”. The word “LAND” has the same value under both the Chaldean and Pythagorean methods of numerology:L=3+A=1+N=5+D=4=13.
  4. The term “AFRO-CENTRIC”=58=5+8=13.
  5. The 13th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution issued in 1865,  where slavery was supposedly abolished except for those incarcerated.
  6.  The first African-American United States Senator Hiram Revels, whose first name “Hiram” under the so-called Chaldean numerology system equals 13: Revel’s first name “Hiram” under the so-called Chaldean numerology system gives us the value of 13: H=5+I=1+R=2+A=1+M=4=(5+1+2+1+4=)13.
  7. The number 13 appears with the Tilden-Hayes Compromise, with the number of electoral college votes garnered by then Democratic presidential candidate Samuel Tilden. Tilden secured 184 electoral college votes. 184=1+8+4=13. The Tilden-Hayes Compromise paved the way for racist policies such as Jim Crow and segregation in the American South and the overturning of any gains made by persons of African ancestry after the Civil War.
  8. Haitian Revolution: After the Vodou ceremony at Bwa Kayiman presided over by Dutty Boukman on August 14, 1791, the enslaved African people of Haiti fought for 13 years to gain their freedom resulting in the first free African led Republic in the world on January 1,1804. The year “1804″=1+8+0+4=13
  9.  The ANC was founded on January 8, 1912. The year “1912“=1+9+1+2=13.
  10. Marcus Garvey born on August 17, 1887. August 17, 1887= 8+17+1+8+8+7=49=4+9=13
  11. Adam Clayton Powell lived from November 29, 1908-April 4, 1972, His birth date of November 29, 1908= 11+29+1+9+0+8= 58=5+8=13.
  12. Powell’s successor Charles Rangel. Charlie Rangel was born on June 11, 1930. The year “1930″ = 1+9+3+0=13.
  13. The “Nation of Islam”=N=5 + A=1 + T=2+ I=9 + O=6 + N=5= 28; O=6 +F=12; I=9+ S= 1+ L= 3+ A= 1+  M=4= 18; 28+12+18= 58=5+8=13
  14. OAU: The Organization of African Unity (OAU) was formed on May 25, 1963: 5+25+1+9+6+3=49=4+9=13.
  15.  Kwame Nkrumah lived from September 21, 1909 –  April  27, 1972. Nkrumah’s birth date of September 21, 1909= 9+21+1+9+0+9=49=4+9=13.
  16. The name “Fannie Lou Hamer” under the Chaldean numerology:F=8 + A=1+ N=5+N=5+I=1+E=5=25 ; L=3+O=7+U=6=16; H=5+A=1+M=4+E=5+R=2=17; 25+16+17=58=5+8=13.
  17. The National Urban League established in 1920 has the number 13 in its name. N=5+A=1+T=2+I=9+O=6+N=5+A=1+L=3+ U=3+R=9+B=2+A=1+N=5+ L=3+E=5+A=1+G=7+U=3+E=5=76= 7+6=13.
  18.  The Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) was formed with 13 members of African-Ancestry after the election in 1970.
  19. The current official address for the CBC is “2444 Rayburn Building Washington, DC 20515″. The zip code for the CBC location ”20515″= 2+0+5+1+5=13.  The building is named after Sam Rayburn, the longest-serving Speaker of the House of Representatives in the history of the United States. Rayburn become Speaker of the House on September 16, 1940 at the age of 58. 58=5+8=13. Rayburn became a Congressman in 1913!
  20.  The current Chair of the CBC, Barbara Lee during 1990-1992 served in the California State Assembly from the 13th district.
  21. The CBC’s first chairperson was Charles Diggs a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Michigan’s 13th district. Diggs was also the first person of African ancestry to be elected to the U.S. Congress from Michigan.
  22. George W.Collins, a founding member of the CBC and member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Illinois’s 6th District died in a plane crash on December 8, 1972. Collins was on United Airlines flight 553, which crashed on approach to the Chicago Midway International Airport. “553″=5+5+3=13. The date of his fatal crash December 8, 1972=12+8+1+9+7+2=39. 39=13+13+13=39 or 13×3=39.
  23. Ron Dellums the first African-American to be elected to Congress from Northern California as well as the first openly Socialist Congressman since WWII. Dellums who was on Nixon’s enemies list was elected to 13 terms as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives hailing from California’s 9th Congressional District.
  24. Parren Mitchell, the first African-American Congressman from Maryland passed away on May 28, 2007 at the age of 85. 8+5=13.
  25. Black Liberation Army: The Fraternal Order of Police blamed the BLA for the murders of 13 police officers. October 22, 1970, the BLA is credited by the authorities to have planted a bomb in St. Brendan’s Church in San Francisco. October 22, 1970=10+22+1+9+7+0=49=4+9=13.
  26. Barack Hussein Obama, the first acknowledged U.S. president of African ancestry was an Illinois  state senator from the 13th district!

Another expression of the number 13 found  within the number 39. As mentioned before elsewhere , 39=13×3 or 13+13+13=39.39 is a symbolized expression of the three phases or states of  development demonstrated in the Auset, Asar and Heru myth. We get 39 when we assign the number 13 to Auset, Asar and Heru.

As well as the three-tiered structure of the Bilderberg group whose inner council has 39 members.

39 can be observed in numerous major events that have occurred in the United States, especially among those directly affecting persons of African ancestry. The number 39 can also be observed with J.Edgar Hoover, the 1st Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), who sought to “disrupt, neutralize and destroy” movements by persons of African ancestry from Marcus Garvey to the Black Panthers.

Not only can we identify the number 39  with Hoover but also the numbers 5 and 44. Together the number sequence of 5, 39 and 44 when associated with one individual, group or movement is the signature of the Lincoln Symbolic Code of Social Control.

The Lincoln Symbolic Code of Social Control is primarily based on numbers 5, 39 and 44. They are associated with the assassination of the 16th president of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. There are other elements and numbers involved but for purposes of this article, we will focus on just two other numbers detected in the death of Lincoln such as 11 and 13.

The number 13 is not unique to Lincoln given the history of the United States and the appearance of that number observed with its birth as the 13 states which were first colonies of Great Britain.

We get the number 5 from when Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809. February 12, 1809=2+12+1+8+0+9=32=3+2=5.

The number 39 is derived from the date of Abraham Lincoln’s death on April 15, 1865=4+15+1+8+6+5= 39.

The number 44 appears with the weapon that was used to assassinate Lincoln, by John Wilkes Booth, a .44 caliber Derringer. .44 caliber is equal to 11 mm.

Other numbers which can be observed with Lincoln, include the number 11  and 13, among others.

Lincoln was 56 years old when he died. 56=5+6=11.  The train carrying Lincoln’s body for his funeral procession completed its travel in 13 days.

We observe the primary numbers of the Lincoln Symbolic Code of Social Control with J.Edgar Hoover through the U.S. presidents he served as director of the FBI. During his tenure as FBI director, Hoover served under six U.S. presidents, of which we will highlight FDR’s and Eisenhower’s numerological relationship to the notorious leader of the FBI.

The number 5 and J.Edgar Hoover  is identified with Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who was the 32nd president during the time of Hoover’s appointment as FBI director. 32=3+2=5.

The number 39 is observed with the date that Dwight Eisenhower officially became the 34th  president of the United States on January 20, 1953. January 20, 1953=1+20+1+9+5+3=39.

The number 44 is detected with the 32nd president Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who was the 44th governor of New York from 1929- 1932.

Hoover has been recognized as the progenitor of “dirty tricks” campaign against Black led movements such as the Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA), National Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Nation of Islam (NOI), Black Panthers and the Black Liberation Army (BLA)  to name a few.

Hoover through his draconian policies was seeking to eliminate the “FREEDOM’ of Black people.  The word “FREEDOM” equals 39.

The policies designed and implemented by Hoover went against the instinctive yearning for freedom, justice and collective empowerment.

With “FREEDOM” understood as an expression of 39, then we can truly understand why both Malcolm and Martin were assassinated at the age of 39 as well as why this number appears with Lincoln’s assassination.

These acts in where we can identify the occult presence of numbers such as 39 are not a mere knee jerk  response by the racist ruling elite to aspirations counter to its interests.

These assassinations are examples of an intentional ritualistic act to signify the heightened spiritual nature of power and its maintenance by the ruling elite.

One can observe how infused the notion of power is with high-level spiritual concepts by the intense opposition by the ruling elite to people of African ancestry  exercise of their “FREEDOM”.  An example of this can be seen with J. Edgar Hoover’s COINTELPRO program.

Hoover’s Counter Intelligence Program or COINTELPRO was designed by him to subvert the authority of the Supreme Court and other legal barriers to suppressing movements as well as individuals who challenged the status quo.

The program supposedly was in effect from 1956 to 1971, though many believe that it is still in operation under different names such as “anti-terrorism”. The language used by Hoover in describing the aims of the COINTELPRO program indicate references which are highly spiritual in nature:

“Prevent the rise of a messiah who could unify and electrify the militant nationalist movement

The word “MESSIAH” is an occult signature which in both its dictionary definition and numerology indicates a metaphysical presence of great spiritual power.

A messiah in essence is “one who is anticipated as, regarded as, or professes to be a savior or liberator.”  Under the lens of numerology “MESSIAH” this word relates to the number expression that indicates great spiritual power and organization.

Under the Chaldean numerology the word “MESSIAH” relates to mastery of organization:

22 is a master number and therefore it is not simplified to a single digit.

Hence we see that the spiritual effects the political with the numerology numbers 11 and 22 associated with the word “MESSIAH”.

The numbers of 11 and 22 registers of the word “MESSIAH” indicate what is at stake with the quest for political empowerment for persons of African ancestry.

The word “MESSIAH”  is a 7 letter word. 7 represents completion. Thus for us to complete our acquisition of power we must be spiritually attuned as indicated with the number 11, when engaging  in the process of establishing our organization reflected in the number 22.

The presence of the number 11 in the word “MESSIAH”indicates the sacredness and the divine nature for the quest for political power on the part of people of African ancestry.

It also reveals that at its essence that spirituality and politics are inextricably linked. To do one is to do the other, for one’s spirituality determines their politics and one’s politics is reflective of their spirituality.

To have a “messiah” is to seek to establish or to maintain a “kingdom”. Most references to the “messiah” concept are linked to a movement or to a civilization which seeks to establish a kingdom on earth and/or  in the heavenly realm.

J. Edgar Hoover’s directive to “prevent the rise of a messiah” is a statement of white supremacy to thwart the complete and full spiritual expression of the Black race. The  implications behind Hoover’s directive signal the fall of white supremacy and the path to the establishment of a new ruling order.

The word “Messiah” in its true historical context  is derived from ancient Kemet. In ancient Kemet, the mummy was prepared for its purpose through the “anointing” of certain oils which enabled the mummy to travel in between worlds.

The original understanding of messiah indicated a process of rebirth, not an actual person who was resurrected. J.Edgar Hoover’s  vicious attack on Black organizations was not only to destroy particular leaders but to prevent any institutional continuity where Blacks could have the “freedom” to develop a methodology that would empower them and provide an example on how to free one’s self from oppression.

The Freedom Party  in New York, has the potential of providing Black people with the institutional space to exercise their genius to free themselves.

Unlike other attempts at political power where the focus was on a particular person, the Freedom Party’s primary thrust is to develop a long-lasting institution which will “anoint” numerous people as “messiahs” to bring about real and long-lasting change. How can people of African ancestry go through the necessary process if the definitions and aims are not created or brought forth from within?

The word “Messiah” according to Gerald Massey:

“The Messianic mystery which has caused unparalleled mental trouble to the world did not originate with, nor was the solution to be found in, the biblical collection of the Hebrew writings.

The Egyptian “mesu”, to anoint, and as a name for the Anointed, is earlier than the Jewish Messiah. Nor would there have been any typical Christ the anointed but for the making of the Karest-mummy.

We have to look a long way beyond these books to learn how salvation came into the world by water, or a saviour could be represented by the fish. It was thus salvation came to Egypt periodically in the new life of the Nile, and thence the saviour, who was imaged in the likeness of a fish.

According to themythical rendering Horus-Iu-em-hetep was a saviour because he came with plenty of food and water in the inundation, as the shoot of, or as the child on the papyrus.

In the eschatology he represented the saviour who showed the way by which the Manes might attain eternal life, when immortality was held to be conditional and dependent upon right conduct and true character.

A doctrine of messiahship was founded on the ever-coming Messu, or child of the inundation in the pre-anthropomorphic phase of symbolism, in which the type might be the fish, the papyrus-shoot, the beetle, hawk or calf, each one of which bears witness that when the infant-likeness was adopted as a figure of the ever-coming saviour or messiah the human type was just as non-historical as any of its predecessors. “

Massey goes on to add:

“The Messu, or the Messianic prince of peace, was born into the world at Memphis in the cult of Ptah as the Egyptian Jesus, with the title of Iu-em-hetep, he who comes with peace or plenty and good fortune as the type of an eternal youth. Here we may note in passing that this divine Child, Iu-emhetep, as the image of immortal youth, the little Hero of all later legend, the Kamite Herakles, had been one of the eight great gods of Egypt who were in existence twenty thousand years ago (Herodotus, 2, 43).”

It must be noted that when spirituality is mentioned, we are not referring to religion and when politics is spoken of we are not focusing on a particular ideological expression.

When we make the connection between spirituality and politics it goes much deeper than how the terms are usually discussed. Spirituality and  the politics we speak of, refers to that which is at the root and the deepest core of a people and which impacts how they do everything in life, not the mere affiliations prescribed by the current ruling paradigm.

We are not referring to a religious  or one party state.

With messiah registering both the number 11 and 22 under the Chaldean as well as the Pythagorean theory respectively, we see that spiritual enlightenment leads to transformation of one’s environment.

Thus when the level of the spirituality is raised we will also see a transformation in how one is organized and vice versa.

Coming from the ancient Kemet understanding of messiah, we know that to be anointed as a messiah is a process not the sole province of a particular person. Thus an institution such as the Freedom Party through the process of political education and other programs will provide the process for its members to become “messiahs”.

When you raise your level of spiritual existence you change your environment and when you change your environment you impact your spiritual existence.

Thus  the political process for Black people is a spiritual awakening.

The number 11 also  is a sign post to the need for higher level spiritual existence and this can be done by going beyond any type of religious mindset. The pitfalls are discerned by understanding the need to avoid lower vibratory spiritual expressions. The positive expression of the number 11 frequency would guide people of African ancestry to organize themselves in the most productive manner thus ascending to the 22 expression in their organizational structure.

According to most authors on numerology the number 11:

  1. 11 is considered to be a Master Number
  2. Number 11 is a master vibration and as such should not be reduced to a single number.
  3. Possesses the qualities of intuition, patience, honesty, sensitivity, and spirituality, and is idealistic.
  4. Teaching and inspiration, and people who are exposed to this are usually uplifted by the experience.
  5. 11  brings the gift of spiritual inheritance and  is gifted as the “Light-Bearer”.
  6. 11 is considered “The PeaceMaker”.
  7. Colours of the number 11 are Gold, Salmon, Prune, White and Black.”
  8. It is the number of the Light within all. Strengthened by the love of Peace, gentleness, sensitivity and insight.
  9. Greatest facility is the awareness of Universal relationship. Is related to the energy of Oppositions and the Balancing needed in order to achieve synthesis.

The number 11 according to some,  can also represent sin; transgression and peril. Ten being the perfect number, eleven represents the exceeding of both.

It is interesting to note that 11 when broken down ( 1+1=2) comprises the Two of duality. This number could be both idealistic and visionary, and they are attracted to the unknown. They can be both unusual, interesting and magnetic personalities.

It was stated that the color “Black” is reflective of the energy of the number 11. The word “BLACK” according to both the Pythagorean and Chaldean numerology systems the word “BLACK” is equal to 11:

With “BLACK” in terms of numerology embodying the number 11, it represents:

  • Higher ideals
  • Invention
  • Refinement
  • Congruence
  • Balance
  • Fulfillment
  • Vision
  • “The 11 carries a vibrational frequency of balance. It represents male and female equality. It contains both sun energy and moon energy simultaneously yet holding them both in perspective separate-ness. Perfect balance.
  • Consequently, constant reoccurrence of number 11 in our lives often signal us to be aware of our balance.”

Black seen as an expression of the number 11 provides insight why so many religious orders wear black garments such as the Jews and Catholics. As well as why Black leaders are ministers.

Being Black reflects spiritual aspirations however due to the improper understanding we have the current condition where there is  a low spiritual register despite having so many religious institutions namely Christian ones in the Black community.

The number 11, according to Ra Un Nefer Amen is the total number of the organizing principles that guide the spirit which are symbolized by the neteru:

“Central to the Ausarian religious system are the 11 Divine Laws which have been extrapolated from the Tree of Life. A full explanation and analysis of each of these Laws can be found in Amen’s book Ma’at, The 11 Laws of God. An important theme of this book is that the essence of these 11 Laws must be programmed into the Spirit of the individual through specific meditation techniques. Impressing these Laws upon the spirit will ensure that an individual’s identity is with his or her true Self when he or she is confronted with a challenging situation rather than with the false self-image that gives control over to the emotions.

A proper understanding for the cultivation of the 11 Laws consists of the following:

  1. All activities in the universe are carried out by energy.
  2. The Spirit is the energy component of God and all beings.
  3. Energy everywhere in the universe is governed by laws, as proven by science.
  4. As an entity of energy, Man’s Spirit which is in charge of the realization of all events in her/his life—physiological and social—is controlled by laws.
  5. God’s and Man’s Spirit carries out all activities in the world through 11 modalities (faculties) of energy.
  6. Each of the 11 modalities of energy is regulated by its own law.
  7. These laws, which are stored in the Divine division of Man’s Spirit, must be transferred into the mind to guide the Life-Force.
  8. As a result, success, health, and the treasures of a spiritual life can be acquired.”

When we combine the words “BLACK” and “MESSIAH”, we get the “BLACK MESSIAH” we get the numbers 40, by adding 11 +29=40 or 22, by adding 11+11=22.

Remember the number 40 is symbolic of completion. Africans in America mistakenly thought that their emancipation was completed and believed that the end of slavery would result in possessing “40 acres and a mule”.

John Henrik Clarke observed the black  messiah process in the Nation of Islam:

“Malcolm X and Elijah Muhammad’s message made a whole lot of people feel whole again, human being again. Some of them came out and found a new meaning to their manhood and their womanhood.

Had Elijah Muhammad tried to introduce and orthodox form Arab-oriented Islam, I doubt if he would have attracted 500 people, but he introduced a form of Islam that would communicate with the people he had to deal with.

He was the king to those who had no king and he was the messiah to those some people thought unworthy of a messiah.”

Hoover , the FBI and the white rule class they represented were oppressing a people who were attempting to fulfill the mission of a Black Messiah.

Both parties attuned to different aspects of the same number expressions of 11 and 22.

The number 22 which is a master number within a master number, for it is double the number 11. The number 22 according to numerology is:

Higher level of the number 4

The 22 is also known as the master builder. It is potentially the most successful of all number and it can turn the most ambitious dreams into reality. The 22 has the intuitive insights of the 2 combined with the practicality of the 4.
22’s have to be practical otherwise they waste their potential. 22’s can deal well with a great variety of people and they are inspirational and intuitive, practical, self-confident, visionary, idealistic and have good common sense.
Like 11’s, 22’s have to work towards the realization of larger goals that are beyond personal ambition.

Here are some of the ideal career choices and vocations of 22’s:

Business person, politician, entrepreneur, leader.

These are some of the vulnerabilities and weaknesses of the number 22:

22’s often try to control people and situations and they might lack faith in the abilities of others. Also, selfishness and pettiness belong to the weaknesses of 22’s.

For 22’s it’s important to find a healthy balance between work and relaxation – 22’s tend to be workaholics and they should be careful with their diet.

As I already mentioned, all characteristics that apply for number 4’s also apply for the master number 22.

  • Extremely capable of reaching the very top of his/her chosen profession
  • An inborn understanding of material problems and their forces.
  • Very perceptive in most things.
  • The inner fire of a 22 is visible to all they come into contact with.
  • The nervous tension felt by a 22 cannot often be hidden.

The Lesson

The number 22 must learn to live up to their potential and although aware and highly perceptive as they may be, they find themselves often frustrated at not being able to put the puzzle together when confronted with a problem.

Learning to harness the great power to accomplish great things will not come to the 22 in their early years.

Thus patience and resiliency are key to manifesting the full expression of the number 22. The opposition to the rise of African people will seek to stifle the manifestation of the number 22 potential through assassination as well as divide and conqueror tactics.

After maturity, there  will come better understanding and they will be a wonder to see in all their endeavors.

Learning how to harness this great potential and use it constructively for the betterment of those around them or the world in general will be the lesson for this lifetime.

The Negative Forces Within

22 must not use its power for selfish reasons as  it will circumvent the destiny of the master number 22 and one must be very aware of misusing it for this  will lead to unrest and a troubled soul.

Occasionally a negative 22 will be overwhelmed by this powerful force and try to retreat from it and if failure to do what needs to be done  as the world needs will result in another wasted life span.

To overcome “oppression” people of African ancestry must raise their spiritual level of operation and existence. To do so they must initiate building of institutions, use symbols and language which assist in fulfilling their revolutionary potential.  They must express and attune themselves to the positive expression of the number 11 and the number 22.

The Black Panther Party carried the number 11 vibration. One example of this  today may be the Freedom Party started in New York. The phrase “FREEDOM PARTY” also equals the number 11:

If its members and supports can be attuned to the higher levels of expression of the number 11 then they can avoid the trap of importing foreign concepts and methods not indigenous to the soul of African people.

They must be mindful of the external and internal opposition which will manifest primarily in the negative expression of the number 11 and the Lincoln Symbolic Code of Social Control.

 J. Edgar Hoover in addition to being head of the repressive FBI was also a Freemason. According to Wikipedia:

“Hoover was a “devoted” Freemason and was coroneted a 33rd Degree Scottish Rite Freemason in the Southern Scottish Rite Jurisdiction. He was raised a Master Mason on November 9, 1920, in Federal Lodge No. 1, Washington, DC, just two months before his 26th birthday.
During his 52 years with the Craft, he received medals, awards and decorations. Eventually in 1955, he was coroneted a Third Degree Inspector General Honorary and awarded the Scottish Rite’s highest recognition, the Grand Cross of Honour in 1965 by the Southern Masonic Jurisdiction. Today a J. Edgar Hoover room exists within the House of the Temple. The room contains many of Hoover’s personal papers and records.”

It is clear that his position as Director of the FBI and his practice of European Freemasonry were part and parcel of his spirituality or “organizing logic”. Hoover’s role as FBI director was an extension of his masonic practice. Thus he used his position to prevent the rise of a Black Messiah in order to maintain white supremacy.

The Freedom Party will continue to succeed,  as long it remains not just an institution by itself but an extension of a deep-rooted spirituality that is not alien to the genetic, historical and political composition of African people.

Thus the conflicts and issues that may arise due to religion and ideology must be avoided by creating an appeal as well as structure similar to Kawaida which is culturally based.

In other words the Freedom Party must not be centered in a limited mindset with their base derived from any one particular religious or ideological group.

Malcolm X articulated this in his vision on Black Nationalism in his famous “Ballot or The  Bullet” speech delivered on April 3, 1964:

“Just as Adam Clayton Powell is a Christian minister who heads the Abyssinian Baptist Church in New York, but at the same time takes part in the political struggles to try and bring about rights to the black people in this country; and Dr. Martin Luther King is a Christian minister down in Atlanta, Georgia, who heads another organization fighting for the civil rights of black people in this country; and Reverend Galamison, I guess you’ve heard of him, is another Christian minister in New York who has been deeply involved in the school boycotts to eliminate segregated education; well, I myself am a minister, not a Christian minister, but a Muslim minister; and I believe in action on all fronts by whatever means necessary.
Although I’m still a Muslim, I’m not here tonight to discuss my religion. I’m not here to try and change your religion. I’m not here to argue or discuss anything that we differ about, because it’s time for us to submerge our differences and realize that it is best for us to first see that we have the same problem, a common problem, a problem that will make you catch hell whether you’re a Baptist, or a Methodist, or a Muslim, or a nationalist. Whether you’re educated or illiterate, whether you live on the boulevard or in the alley, you’re going to catch hell just like I am.

We’re all in the same boat and we all are going to catch the same hell from the same man. He just happens to be a white man. All of us have suffered here, in this country, political oppression at the hands of the white man, economic exploitation at the hands of the white man, and social degradation at the hands of the white man.

Now in speaking like this, it doesn’t mean that we’re anti-white, but it does mean we’re anti-exploitation, we’re anti-degradation, we’re anti-oppression. And if the white man doesn’t want us to be anti-him, let him stop oppressing and exploiting and degrading us.

Whether we are Christians or Muslims or nationalists or agnostics or atheists, we must first learn to forget our differences. If we have differences, let us differ in the closet; when we come out in front, let us not have anything to argue about until we get finished arguing with the man.

If the late President Kennedy could get together with Khrushchev and exchange some wheat, we certainly have more in common with each other than Kennedy and Khrushchev had with each other.”

One another occasion in 1964, Malcolm X reiterated his commitment to his vision of  Black Nationalism:

I’m still a Muslim but I’m also a nationalist, meaning that my political philosophy is black nationalism, my economic philosophy is black nationalism, my social philosophy is black nationalism.

And when I say that this philosophy is black nationalism, to me this means that the political philosophy of black nationalism is that which is designed to encourage our people, the black people, to gain complete control over the politics and the politicians of our own community.

Our economic philosophy is that we should gain economic control over the economy of our own community, the businesses and the other things which create employment so that we can provide jobs for our own people instead of having to picket and boycott and beg someone else for a job.  And, in short, our social philosophy means that we feel that it is time to get together among our own kind and eliminate the evils that are destroying the moral fiber of our society, like drug addiction, drunkenness, adultery that leads to an abundance of bastard children, welfare problems.  We believe that we should lift the level or the standard of our own society to a higher level wherein we will be satisfied and then not inclined toward pushing ourselves into other societies where we are not wanted.

Why is America in a position to bring about a bloodless revolution?

Because the Negro in this country holds the balance of power and if the Negro in this country were given what the Constitution says he is supposed to have, the added power of the Negro in this country would sweep all of the racists and the segregationists out of office.

It would change the entire political structure of the country. It would wipe out the Southern segregationism that now controls America’s foreign policy, as well as America’s domestic policy.

And the only way without bloodshed that this can be brought about is that the black man has to be given full use of the ballot in every one of the 50 states.

But if the black man doesn’t get the ballot, then you are going to be faced with another man who forgets the ballot and starts using the bullet.

Revolutions are fought to get control of land, to remove the absentee landlord and gain control of the land and the institutions that flow from that land. The black man has been in a very low condition because he has had no control whatsoever over any land.

He has been a beggar economically, a beggar politically, a beggar socially, a beggar even when it comes to trying to get some education.

So that in the past the type of mentality that was developed in this colonial system among our people, today is being overcome.

And as the young ones come up they know what they want. And as they listen to your beautiful preaching about democracy and all those other flowery words, they know what they’re supposed to have.

So you have a people today who not only know what they want, but also know what they are supposed to have. And they themselves are clearing another generation that is coming up that not only will know what it wants and know what it should have, but also will be ready and willing to do whatever is necessary to see that what they should have materializes immediately.”
