DMX vs. Snoop Dogg in ‘Verzuz’ Battle: Sirius & Metaphysics of the Dog Star

The DMX and Snoop Dogg Verzuz Battle on July 22, 2020 was billed as the “Battle of the Dawgs” , which was an encoded reference to the “Dog Days Of Summer”.

The “Dog Days of Summer”,  is a time period  from July 3rd to August 15th, which is considered the hottest days of summer.

The “Dog Days Of Summer” is directly linked to the rise of the Sirius star.

Sirius is the brightest star visible from any part of Earth.

Sirius is located in the constellation Canis Major.

Canis Major means “the Greater Dog”.

Sirius is sometimes called the Dog Star.

According to one source:

“Ancient Greeks and Romans knew when the dog star Sirius was brightest in the sky, the hottest days of summer were upon them.

They referred to these days as the “diēs caniculārēs”, which translates to “dog days”.

This was also reinforced by Sirius rising shortly before the sun rose, almost rising with the sun.”

At the time of the Verzuz Battle on July 22, 2020, DMX born on December 18, 1970, was 49 years old.

The numerology of the name “SNOPP DOGG” is 49, when using the Full Reduction cipher of numerology:

Interestingly enough, the numerology of the word “SIRIUS” when using the Reverse Full Reduction cipher of numerology is 49:

The number 49, when added to itself is 49=4+9=13.

The number 13, is connected to the Sirius star.

“Astronomically, on July 4th the longitude of the Sun is 12° Cancer in the Heavens, and on this date the Sun conjoins the great star Sirius, whose longitude is 13° Cancer.

The Verzuz Battle between DMX and Snoop Dogg displayed the dog archetype on several levels and its connection to the Sirius star.

The date the Verzuz Battle took place on July 22, 2020,  was during the time period referred to as the “Dog Days Of Summer”, which lasts from July 3rd to August 15th.

The dog archetype present with DMX and Snoop Dogg, has also been associated with the Sirius star from ancient times.

Sirius is located in the constellation Canis Minor, which means “major dog”.

In ancient Kemet, commonly known as ancient Egypt, Sirius was named Sopdet.

Sopdet was associated with Auset, commonly referred to as Isis, who was accompanied by Inpu, also known as Anubis.

Inpu/Anubis was sometimes associated with Sirius in the heavens.

Inpu/Anubis was represented by the jackal- headed figure and was associated with mummification and the afterlife.

The jackal is a member of the canine family and is classified as a wild dog.

As the record setting number of viewers were reminded, DMX and Snoop Dogg are strongly associated with the dog archetype.

DMX’s trademark dog growl, and songs such as “Where My Dogs At?” are proof  of his connection to the dog archetype.

Snoop Dogg by virtue of his name clearly demonstrates his connection to dog archetype.

He originally got his nickname because he looked like Snoopy.

Snoop Dogg’s association to Hip-Hop groups such as Tha Dogg Pound, Nate Dogg as well as albums and songs such as Doggystyle, and Tha Doggfather, only serve to further cement this connection.

Interestingly enough, the July 22, 2020 DMX and Snoop Dogg Verzuz Battle, was one day before the day of the heliacal rising of  Sirius on July 23rd.

July 23rd is also the day Emperor Haile Selassie was born.

The legacy of Haile Selassie includes being the inspiration for the Rastafari movement.

Snoop Dogg during a brief period in his career, was known as Snoop Lion.

During this time he underwent a metamorphosis from a “gun-toting gangsta-rapper to the peace-and-love Rastafarian”.

Through it all Snoop Dogg was connected metaphysically to the Sirius star.

According to the Ancient Kemetic system of astrology, December 18th , the day DMX was born is governed by Ausar, commonly known as Osiris.

This is significant for “Sirius, sometimes called the Dog Star follows Orion into the sky as the predawn darkness gives way to dawn.”
